En este proyecto dos naves industriales existentes han sido trasformadas en un espacio multifuncional de vivienda y taller de arquitectura. El espacio entre las naves se convierte en un patio mediterráneo, lleno de vegetación y al que se añade una pequeña piscina que ayuda al control térmico del espacio exterior en los meses cálidos. La combinación de plantas exóticas y un sistema de riego sostenible, recuperando el agua de lluvia crea un oasis verde en el corazón de la parcela.
Arquitectura sencilla, que reutiliza los volúmenes existentes, minimizando las demoliciones. La estructura de pórticos permite liberar los cerramientos y abrir grandes huecos que orientan los espacios interiores al patio común y permiten una ventilación natural que aprovecha el flujo de la brisa del mar al Montgó. Se aíslan térmicamente todos los paramento exteriores y una doble cubierta minimiza el imparto solar en el volumen construido, minimizando el uso de sistemas de refrigeración artificiales.
La nave principal se utiliza como vivienda, con una distribución abierta y luminosa que permite una amplia vista al patio y piscina.
La segunda nave se ha transformado en un gran espacio de trabajo flexible y con un enfoque en la ergonomía y la productividad, también orientado al patio.

In this project two existing industrial buildings have been transformed into a multifunctional living space and architectural workshop. The space between the warehouses becomes a Mediterranean courtyard, full of vegetation and to which a small swimming pool is added to help control the temperature of the outside space in the hot months. The combination of exotic plants and a sustainable irrigation system, recovering rainwater, creates a green oasis in the heart of the plot.
Simple architecture, reusing existing volumes, minimising demolition. The portico structure frees up the enclosures and opens up large openings that orient the interior spaces towards the common courtyard and allow natural ventilation that takes advantage of the flow of the sea breeze to the Montgó. All the exterior walls are thermally insulated and the double roof minimises the solar impact on the built volume, minimising the use of artificial cooling systems.
The main building is used as a livingspace, with an open and luminous layout that allows a wide view of the courtyard and swimming pool.
The second volume has been transformed into a large flexible workspace with focus on ergonomics and productivity, also oriented to the courtyard.

Bei diesem Projekt wurden zwei bestehende Industriegebäude in einen multifunktionalen Lebensraum und ein Architekturstudio umgewandelt. Der Raum zwischen den Lagerhallen wird zu einem mediterranen Innenhof mit einer üppigen Vegetation und einem kleinen Swimmingpool, der in den heißen Monaten die Temperatur des Außenbereichs reguliert. Die Kombination aus exotischen Pflanzen und einem nachhaltigen Bewässerungssystem, das Regenwasser zurückgewinnt, schafft eine grüne Oase im Herzen des Grundstücks.
Einfache Architektur, Wiederverwendung vorhandener Bausubstanz, Minimierung des Abrisses.Die Struktur des Portikus löst die Umfassungsmauern auf und öffnet große Öffnungen, die die Innenräume zum gemeinsamen Innenhof hin ausrichten und eine natürliche Belüftung ermöglichen, die die Meeresbrise zum Montgó hin nutzt. Alle Außenwände sind wärmegedämmt und das Doppeldach minimiert die Sonneneinstrahlung auf das Gebäudevolumen, wodurch der
Einsatz künstlicher Kühlsysteme auf ein Minimum reduziert wird.
Das Hauptgebäude wird als Wohnsitz genutzt und ist offen und hell gestaltet, so dass man einen weiten Blick auf den Innenhof und das Schwimmbad hat.
Die zweite Halle wurde in einen großen, flexiblen Arbeitsbereich umgewandelt, in dem Ergonomieund Produktivität im Vordergrund stehen und der ebenfalls auf den Innenhof ausgerichtet ist.
